I ordered chinese food to be delivered last night, to find they had inserted some fortune cookies with my order.

Once I had eaten my dinner, I opened my first cookie to be greeted with wise words of wisdom and influence that would no doubt influence me to be a better person.

“If you can dream it, then you can achieve it.”

I opened my second tasty snack with my head held high in the knowledge that I can achieve.

Only to have my dreams dashed.

“Remember, no matter how hard you try, there is always a million people better than you.”

Oh thanks..

I think I’ll go cry myself to sleep.
